Yes, there should be an evaluate() method hanging off something. Session maybe?

I do Java, but I reference Help. It reminds me of a number of ambiguities.

I know you're just using this for @Dblookup, but if it gets more complicated, a bit of hard-earned advice. I avoid *all* declarations in any Eval / evaluate call. Don't define fields, enviros, selects, or temp variables, just use them with their @Set* function calls. Things always seem to work out better that way.
